Researching Connections Among Vocational and Personal Categories

What are the relationships or connections among the 108 vocational and personal categories of charts? Based upon a person's aspects, AstrolDeluxe can provide a two-page list that ranks a man or woman according to how strong is each of the 108 categories. AstrolDeluxe does this by analyzing the person's aspects, which are found with different frequencies in the charts of people in different categories. This page studies the interconnections among each of the categories based upon their shared strong or weak astrological aspects.

The number of people belonging to a particular vocational or personal category can rank in the top third, middle third, or bottom third for each of the many astrological aspects. See the sample study document for Mercury conjunct the Moon's North Node. A small 1560-byte signature file for each of the 108 categories has been assigned tokens of either 1, 2, or 3 for each aspect, depending upon the relative abundance found for that category for that aspect. The sample MER CJN MNN aspect is assigned a token of 1 in the Dementia signature file because of its high representation ratio of 0.0537, while that aspect is assigned a token of 2 in the Dancer_f signature file on account of an intermediate ratio of 0.0273, but the aspect is only assigned a token of 3 in the Spiritual_xp signature file because of a low representation ratio of 0.0085. If these token numbers were to match for every aspect between the selected category and the compared category, that would be a 100% match, with a ratio of 1. If only half the token numbers were to match, that would be a 50% match, with a ratio of .500. A ratio of .333 would express a random relationship. The higher the congruence ratio between categories, the more the people in the categories are found to share the same strong and weak aspects. A similar study found the most dissimilar ratios for Actor_m, with Drugabuse_f 0.2083333, Wealthy_f 0.2205128, Scientist_f 0.225, and Lawyers_noted_f 0.2403846.

There is a lot to learn from studying these relationships. For example, we learn that, although their activities are different, an actor who wins an award is astrologically similar to an athlete who wins a championship. We also learn that a person who works as a critic, of either art, dance, drama, fashion, film, literature, music, or poetry, shares many aspects with people who commit murder. In fact, the AstrolDeluxe vocational search shows that murder is a top-ten theme for 174 of the 794 critics in that collection. Of course, that 22% cannot compare to the 55% that the search finds for Gauquelin's collection of 622 actual murderers, but it is in line with the 22% found for 849 medical doctors. Usually I just mentally translate a person's Murder ranking into an indication of their relative toughness.
